AGNOSTIC OR ATHEISM

Every nook and corner of India is customed with some form of supernatural indices in form of temples, posters, idols or other esoteric forms. But in contrast, these makes the essence to our tradition and compliments of the real façade of India. All these indices as temples, monuments, practices, festive etc. beats loud with pride about our ancient civilization and its ethics which has extant for so many years.
But my question interdicts the possible existence of the Almighty; not being an atheist to proscribe the belief but an agnostic or a child trying to solve the doubt. Fables and ethic stories heard from our forbears has always fantasized about the ultimate power. Being living and growing up in technofuss world is hard to believe the concepts of god but there are certain implications or facts which rather give some support to the question.
The famous MAGARAJODHI of SABARIMALA; which is a blare of light said to be an indication of god; illuminates every once in a year in the month of January. But the miracle subordinated with the flying of an eagle( called as the god's vehicle- garuda) just above the gleaming light ; whether it is fortuitous or unworldly is out of syllabus.
We Indians are well known with the clairvoyance and its practices around; especially the all notable NAADI JOSIYAM is outstanding in the way the predictions are made. According to the practice, the chiropractor studies the thumb impressions of the individual and tells the whole genealogy and privy facts of the individual; said to be dictated by the god himself.
The concept of buoyancy is well derided by a rock floating on water; inscribed with epithet- RAM , the rock floats on water which was used in building up a bridge( acc. to Ramayana).
These implications or much articulated empirical facts does prove the existence to some extent and till that extent the god will remain the true emblem of India.

10 MONTHS OF GESTATION

There is a common tradition in our country which binds us all in one page. This tradition in form of a famous adage cultivated from the films and various other sources has become an important part of our matron tongue. " 10 months of gestation"; due to my south Indian kinship am abided to translate it - " pathu maasam somakredhu".
This cliché has made a deal with my mother ever since i was born. She drills with this quote every time she turns outrageous. I take this as the platform to attack it back.
Not trying to be an apologist against the GREAT MOTHER society; but just vocalizing the quote in the infant dimension.
10 months seems to be along period to be maturing inside the womb.Conceiving and dangling around is easier than to be confined inside the dark room. And with special addition; they get extra ordinary care and love; then where do we the offspring fit with the sympathy.
You don't have the rights to move around, eat the same for 300 days , no entertainment but just the solitary confinement. These days are a hell to pass by in our lifetime; but still we hear the humming. For this soul reason i couldn't bare the ambience inside; so jumped out in 7 months
( don't say premature but very adventurous at that time).

JUST A SNAP

Life is a wonderful journey where you come across different types of people and learn the nature of life from each individual. Types of people not in the sense of races/ religion but in terms of character and conduct which galvanize ours. Since i pursued my graduation in South India ( schooling in Delhi) , it made it easier for me to explore the diversity and various facets of people across the subcontinent.
The subject enunciated met HIM ( let the name be X)in my college; a very different or a bohemian of all kinds. Its a corporeal stuff of human beings to be foppish in matters of attraction and just for posing to a camera( just a snap; reminding the title). Posing and cheesing for a photo is a inherent habit for a normal mankind; but the X (no names please) was a different celestial idiot or an abnormality to the sapien cult.
X was an aspirant of IIT who tried it for 2 years to crack it down but unfortunates does happen to the hero. So he was elder to all of us in our batch and considered him like ......(initially).He was a real monk ; monk who celibates to photo flashes( not joking). We came to know about the phobia until once i took a snap and due to which he hide my mobile and didn't return it for 5 long hours( imagine my exasperation ). So every time we had fete in those days; we took deliberate snaps just to bubble him up. And aftermath he used to chase down the clips from the cameras and delete the snaps.
I was amazed of this comport and worked for the reason but finally got the feasibility towards his BIHARI instinct( not hurting anybody). He is so ascetic which made us think whether he ever had any sexual self pleasure, attraction or even seen a porn.
Lets see what he does for his marriage snapshots in the future; pray the almighty.
Its really ineffable to believe in this technocrat century where these types of characters really do exist.
Still we don't know the apt reason for the phobia; but we will definitely solve the conundrum at least during his marriage.

ALL TIME MYSTERY

Born and brought up in an orthodox brahmin family especially in a south indian bourgeois materialism "keeps me" and "kept me" in proximity with the ethnics of the aryans. Years passing by,learnt alot of arcane facts about the culture, lifestyles, practices, festive etc. With a gradual digestion of information in the years i learnt a weird fact called the big fight between iyers (followers of shiva) and iyengars( followers of vishnu) (dont ask me more than that because its weird). and this fracas was practically revealed when my grandmother once refused to visit a Shiva temple. reason for that was a pretty dotage humming which i never bothered to hear.
Recently i saw a Tamil film retrospecting the same concept quit dramatically synthesised which compelled for my journey for a quick research at some stories and catholic facts of Hinduism:( very interesting)
The Hanuman, an ardent devotee of lord ram (iyengar god) was born to a female monkey anjana and kesari. Anjana had a great devotion towards lord shiva , performed prayers to beget SHIVA as her child. Due to great adulation and devotion shiva granted the boon. so he was incarnated as vanara god- hanuman with an oracular purpose of helping rama( lord vishnu).
Another implication called lord Ayyapa was born to Vishnu and Shiva as a composite form of both the deities in one god ( this too too extra extra marital).
what makes me gawk with all these facts whether true or false , reflects a true camaraderie between the gods which is vice versa down here. But we are preoccupied with the apocryphal made up by our fore bearers rather than respecting the ultimate truth being preached. pretty agnostic but a true fact to be analysed.
